One fine morning my friend came n told there is a very good opportunity in home-based jobs using computers. As I read about IT boom in India I also thought of to be a part of it though I am novice in any skills. He downloaded two application forms from one site and brought and told me just paying administration charges of Rs.1200 we can earn at least 9K a month. So, we joined this by applying n remitting Rs.1200 each.
The work was conversion of pdf files to word doc. Pdf files they told they will supply thru CDs which never came n we come to know we simply invested on computer, its table and admin. Charges.
As computer loan was sitting on our head my friend was seriously looking earning money thru computer related works. One day he ran n came with Times of India newspaper n shown me an ad of a company, which is based in B.lore itself. The company has three levels of deposition ranges from Rs.2000 to 6000 n the work they give is posting of ads on free classified sites. They pay between Rs.4 to 6 depending on the initial deposition you made. Higher the deposition you make higher will be the payout per ad and I don’t know why it is like that even though the work is same at any level. Three months we worked day n night to earn Rs.940 for the investment of Rs.6000. I don’t think any body can do this and they can produce the confirmation links the way in which company asks.
And our story continues like this n we lost money in 3 other companies n my friend somehow manage to sell off the computer and paid back some loan. Even today these companies give ads in daily newspapers and people fall victims of such scams.
One day I found all these things are scams. Tons of scams n websites want money in one or the other way. They offer returns only in dollars and that too they all talk in 10K to 80K a month or week itself. They all want money in the name of administration charges, kit/book purchase, software charges, handling charges, account charges etc. Few more people who lost money with these companies are selling ad blasters, free classified site lists and remember all these people have bank accounts in private banks for you to deposit money!
Dear Friends, sit calmly and think. Assess your capabilities in these works. Do you really have skills to work? Do not fall into such scams. These works are really outsourced from various parts of the world and the Webmaster definitely wants his work done at competitively lower prices. As a programmer you want to do such works means you should have two things say a) Required Skill b) Able to do on time at competitive price. If you really want to earn money on any home based jobs/offline/online jobs you should work hard and should be able to meet the deadlines. Remember you should not pay for getting any work or project. Make any of such payments if require after you got the work done and payment done. Learn things, be patient, jump into competition see how you start earning. Remember you will earn only depending on your skill or expertise anything between 1K to 10K a month. What I am saying is if you are an ordinary typing fellow like me you may get the project, which earns you, 1K and if you are a web designer you may earn 10K something like that.
